Tomorrow morning Ron heads off for Turkey, hoping that he can install a new holding tank before we are due to set sail for the Black Sea. We can't leave port without it, and as I write this he's waiting for some parts to arrive that connect the tank to the boat.
It has been difficult to find out if the tank has been made, as we don't speak Turkish and the manufacturers don't speak English. We should know on Thursday when Ron goes to collect the tank.
The boat is currently in Yalova, which is in the east of the Sea of Marmara. The plan is to travel as far east along the Black Sea coast of Turkey before heading back to arrive in Istanbul in early August. More soon.

Post script. The parts didn't arrive. Not sure what happens now!
ReplyDeleteOooops! Should have seen that coming really....
ReplyDeleteIt arrived 10 minutes before we left to go to the airport! I had to go to the pub car park and meet a man with a parcel!
